FOUR-FIN MODELS

FOUR-FIN FISHTAIL
5'10"x 23 1/4"
Good all-around board for waves between 2'- 6'

FOUR-FIN ROUNDED SQUARETAIL
5'10" x 23 1/2" channel bottom
The rounded squaretail provides plenty of planing area for getting the most out of low-powered waves while the four fins and thin tail allows the board to hang in there in juicier conditions like punchy beachbreaks.

FOUR-FIN FISHTAIL
6' 2" X 22 1/2"
Best in waves from 4' to 8'. Prefers hollower surf, but still works in other conditions like solid pointbreak waves. Can be surfed in bigger waves by changing fin
combination and placement.

A really good board for planing across flatter waves and carving on the face.
Small to medium sized waves

TRI-FIN ROUNDED PINTAIL

Our most popular tri-fin. Suits waves up to 6' in a varity of conditions. Can be surfed in bigger waves by using bigger fin combinations.

6' x 22 3/4 "
A performance oriented board for solid waves in the 4' to 8' range. The sleeker outline likes juicy waves.

TRI-FIN PINTAIL
6' 3" x 22 1/2"
Features "BIG" side fins for driving off the bottom and riding the tube in critical conditions. The low-area pintail allows you to turn on demand at higher speeds.

CLASSIC DIAMOND TAIL OUTLINE
with a little more overall curve than its 70/80's parent. Dave did heaps of these twins in the early 80's. Now available with multiple fin set ups. A tri fin is pictured.the diamond tail boards are based around the twin fins that I surfed and shaped during the early 80's. The full outline makes for a board that planes really easily and lets you surf with a minimium of effort - great for the surfer that really justs wants to cruise!

A 4 fin version of THE SINGLE FLYER TWIN that I took on an around Australia trip in 1980. More performance orientated than the classic full diamond tail.

Basically the same as THE SINGLE FLYER TWIN above, but a little longer and narrower to give a sleeker outline.

4 FIN FISH TAIL using a triple redwood stringer. Shape is based around an older style "fish" kneeboard but combines todays rails, foils, bottom shape and fin placements.This board was shaped for Bob from San Diego

FLEX TAIL. A true classic slab outline with a big single fin and a 12" fin box. This era board is what was being made when I first started to work in the Friar Tuck factory for Peter Ware. Available with or without the flex tail. This board made for Rod from Western Australia.
